The Elven General from Ethereal
History
Most Slayran Elves reside on the West coast of the continent, the colony of Ethereal, which was made to be a paradise for the Elven Lords of Old Empire. Despite its immense wealth rivaling the Heartland, Ethereal holds a darker reality – the acceptance of slavery.
Many elven nobles, predominantly enslaving Hill Dwarves conquered from the northern lands, utilise them in the arcane stone mines making the land a rich supply of Arcane magic.
From an early age, the young Slayran acquires a foundational understanding of magic. Those who seek to delve deeper into the arcane arts journey to Vraneus, a city hidden within the Rostream, reserved exclusively for true Forest Elves. Here, ancient magic is imparted, guarded zealously against even their elven kin.
Tradition and ancient ways define every aspect of Sylvan life, with noble families in perpetual competition for the throne of Ethereal.
